Seahive Cheese (Beehive Cheese)

Sweet and mild, Beehive Cheese's "Seahive" is a subtle and smooth cheddar-like cheese. Unlike many of the other flavors produced by Beehive Cheese, Seahive doesn't have a particularly notable flavor. There is a gentle, creamy sweetness from the honey and small flecks of sea salt within. 

Because of the subtlety of this cheese, it's best paired with stronger flavors. Fruity, bold wines work well, and it can be added to other dishes like salads. It isn't a "feature" cheese; it isn't bright or noticeable enough to be a centerpiece. But that also makes it an excellent snacking cheese.

Because Seahive is so extremely mild, it doesn't have a lot of character behind it. But like other Beehive Cheese, it's also an affordable cheese of comparably high quality. If you're looking for a subtle cheese to pair with tangy or darker flavors, Seahive is well-suited.
