Controversial Cheese? A Cheese Party in London Left a Lot to Be Desired
It seems as though every year there's a cheese party that simply doesn't realize how much cheese will be in demand. They always promise their patrons virtually unlimited servings ... and they invariably run out. This time it was in London. The Giant Cheese Board event intended to offer its patrons unlimited cheese, but not only did it run out of cheese -- it didn't even give them the warm, mulled wine that was promised. A festive and surreal event, the Giant Cheese Board had rodents guiding customers along a giant cheese board, as though in a giant's kitchen. But unfortunately for everyone involved, this giant's kitchen was under stocked and underwhelming. Social media was brutal to this cheese party, stating that there were only five different types of cheese, that they ran out of bread, and that there was a 90 minute wait to get in. Of course, all other things notwithstanding, this is a lesson in underestimating the need for cheese.
